My favorite city in all of kyoto is Uji. I've been to Uji about more than 3 times.
If you must know, your beloved green tea kitkat gets their maccha from Uji. It says so on the packaging. Look nowhere else but Uji for authentic maccha.
Most, if not, all stores sell Uji Maccha merchandise.
The best maccha soft serve in the world, dusted with maccha powder. Looking forward to the day I get to eat something that beats this.
Uji River
Uji is famous for Maccha first and second for Byoudou-in.
The Phoenex Hall is so big it can't fit inside the frame of my wide angle lens.
